Shabby Chic

This is my version of Shabby Chic - not quite sure if it is or not.  Anyway it is an 8 x 8 canvas.

I painted the background with Pebeo Acrylic paint - Antique White, Ash Brown and Pink,
I stamped Indigo Blu Script Background with Festive Berries Distress Ink, then stamped  Indigo Blu Floral Swirl and embossed with Wow brass embossing powder.  The words are from Poppy Meadow Set.  The flowers and leaves were stamped with Live Love Laugh stamp set and coloured with cosmic shimmer paint, cut out and decoupaged on to the canvas. Lace, pearls and brass embellishments from my stash.

I really enjoyed getting messy and inky with this and hope you like it too.

First Christmas Card

I got this Indigo Blu Baroque Christmas Tree last week and couldn't wait to ink it up.  So first Christmas card of the year done and dusted and many more to do.

I used an 8 x 8 scalloped card.  I used dark blue ink and stamped the edges of the christmas tree to make a backing paper.  I used Manchester Tart gilding flakes on the main image and embellished with a few gold gems.  Matted and layered on blue pearlescent card from my stash.

Summertime

Just jumping in at the last minute for Indigo Blu Challenge.   I have had my son, wife and 2 gorgeous little granddaughters over from Denmark for a holiday - so very little crafting done.

I have inked the background card with Distress Ink then stamped and embossed with silver wow powder. Some little gems to finish.

Altered Heart

When I saw this wooden heart with hook in a Pound Shop, I immediately thought "I could alter that".  So here we are.

I painted it with Gee-Soo Good and then painted some Pebeo Red Acrylic paint on top.  I stamped Honeycomb Backgound, Script Background and part of the tree from Nature 1 stamps randomly in Walnut Stain Distress Ink.  I then stamped and embossed the flowers, leaves and bird from Live Love Laugh stamp set, coloured them with Distress Ink, cut them out and decoupaged them on to the heart.

Flowers

I love Indigo Blu stamps and this is such a pretty stamp.

The background of this card was coloured using Pan Pastels.  Stamped and embossed with gold and the flowers stamped again, cut out and decoupaged.  The flowers were coloured with Cosmic Shimmer paints.
A little bow and bird cage charm from my stash.

I am going to enter this in the Indigo Blu Challenge.
